About Parenting Pivot

A show for parents navigating life with neurodivergent or special needs kids.

Why We Created Parenting Pivot

Parenting Pivot was created for the parents who suddenly find themselves on a path they didn’t expect—a path filled with questions, challenges, and moments of extraordinary growth.

We know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure of what to do next. That’s why we made this show: to give parents a space where they feel seen, supported, and understood.

Season One: The Turning Point

In Season One, we talk about that moment when your gut tells you something’s different, and you start searching for answers.

We explore what it feels like to confront the unknown, to navigate conflicting advice, and to begin building a support system—one conversation at a time.

What You’ll Hear on Parenting Pivot

  • Real stories from parents at all stages of the journey

  • Insights from professionals who work with neurodivergent children and their families

  • Practical tips for advocating with strength, compassion, and clarity

  • Occasional bonus episodes with special guests and topics we couldn’t leave out

Meet the Host

About Patrick
I’m Patrick—a longtime entrepreneur, parent of a neurodivergent child, and the creator of Parenting Pivot. This podcast grew out of my own search for guidance, support, and honest conversation after I realized my child was on a different path. I’m not a therapist or expert—just a fellow parent learning as I go and inviting others to share the ride. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a bit of behind-the-scenes know-how to every episode.

Why I’m Doing This
I started Parenting Pivot to help other parents feel less alone and more informed. My goal is to build a supportive space where parents can hear real stories, get practical advice, and access tools to advocate for their kids. If you connect with this mission or have something to share, I’d love to hear from you.
