Almost There — and I Want You to Hear It First

Covered pedestrian bridge over railway tracks, with light at the far end — symbolizing quiet progress and crossing into something new.

Almost all of the interviews are done. The stories are recorded. The conversations are unfolding in a way that feels real, grounded, and more powerful than I could have hoped for.

And now… we’re almost there.

I’m not quite ready to hit publish yet. But I’m close.

This Is Starting to Feel Real

All the parent interviews are recorded. Most of the expert interviews are either done or scheduled. Intros are coming together. The location shots for the intros and outros are done. I’ve even started editing the first few episodes — which means this project is no longer an idea. It’s a thing. It exists.

And I want you to be among the first to hear it.

Why This Matters to Me

When I first had the idea for Parenting Pivot, I wasn’t thinking about audience numbers or promotion. I was thinking about the kind of show I wished had existed when I first found out my daughter was on a different path.

I didn’t need a list of therapies. I needed to hear from someone who’d been there.
I needed someone to say:
“Yes, this is hard. And yes, it will keep changing. But you’re not alone — and you’re not broken.”

That’s what I’m trying to create.

What You Can Expect

Each episode starts with a parent story. Honest, messy, sometimes beautiful. Then we bring in an expert who can reflect, offer perspective, and give practical insight without preaching.

It’s not polished. It’s not perfect. But it’s real. And I think that’s what matters most.
